The Pedagogy of Curiosity

A Pedagogy of Curiosity© research is designed to create spaces and processes where scientific, aesthetic and pedagogic enquiry can be explored on an equal basis. Each experiment addresses real world problems. Researchers aim to identify imaginative practical solutions informed by a better understanding of the value of the senses in their work and in society. Researchers and practitioners, each with their own disciplinary background its histories, paradigms and languages, are offered space and time to come together for experimentation which may not be defined by a limited set of conditions and definitions focused on any predetermined cause and effect.

This approach aims to demonstrate desirable consequences of an open re-examination and interrogation of ideas and practices that can move respectfully and openly across and between disciplinary methods, approaches and instruments, historical periods, and cultural, social and economic perspectives.

Through radical collaborations, A Pedagogy of Curiosity is a testing ground for curiosity driven research and applications.
